Some more inspiration!

Another project using the new XL treat box from Big Shot class earlier this month. It uses the Flamingo paper, which I lOVE!

This beauty is from Tami - have you noticed the new IC "Crushed Curry" is the color of my kitchen??? Everytime I read/type the name of this color - it sends me to a craving for curry......hm, maybe we shall have that for dinner tonight! We have fresh cucumbers in the garden - and my curries are best when they have a side of cucumber raita!
See some of you soon at EOC!!

July's Extra*Ordinary Cards!

Tomorrow is July's Extra*Ordinary card class - and you can see here the three projects we are making. EOC cards always take a bit more time and may use more embellishments than we might at a regular card class. Want to see the step up from ordinary on tomorrow's projects?
This card uses lots of texture - from the glossy panel, roughed edges and the big shot texturz plate. Glossy cardstock gives you extra time to 'work' with it - so this has layers and layers of images on the one image. There is sponging, markers and embosing! As with most 'extra*ordinary' cards - it looks much prettier in person - I was going for a look that you good give a guy, what do you think?

Project two uses my favorite stamp from the new catalog - the giant Medallion! This card isn't as time consuming - but makes use of the new Bride paper (LOVE it), pearls, ribbon and Razzleberry. The inside is decorated too!

Finally, a fun 'work of art card' - it is stamped, embossed, watercolored, spritzed, sponged and more! It uses watercolor cardstock and a lot of craft ink. I love the watercolor cardstock, you can work with it forever - and I can easily get lost in the painting.....which is why there are just 3 cards at these classes!

We are heading out for a bit of shopping - I will be cutting paper tonight - so you can still RSVP if you like! Don't forget - class is at 11:15!

From July's Big Shot class

Each month there is a Big Shot class in my home. We do 4 projects, all Big Shot based. Here are two from July's class. I will post the other 2 in the next day or so.
The best part about July's projects - there were four and the gals were done in less than an HOUR!

24 hour super special on the deal of the week!

This super pretty card was made by a demonstrator in my group..........but she didn't put her name on it, so I don't know WHO it was from.
I loved it so much that it will be one of the cards in the upcoming class 2 go - "Circle Circus" - more details on that in the next few days.
But for today, the card also shows off the Vanilla Hodgepodge beautifully!
It is the Deal of the Week (see below) and MY deal of the DAY!
BUT - If you order it from me by 8pm EST time July 23rd, I will give you another $2 off, making it $16.99 + s/h/tax.

Orders must be picked up or $3 additional to have it shipped to you.

Gloomy day in the office.....

The Deal of the Week for Stampin' Up! is on the Vanilla Hodgepodge - it is nearly $10 off!! I love the hodgepodge, especially the vanilla - I will post a sample with it later today.
Along with that posting - I have an email going out that will include a special to get EVEN MORE off the sale price, be watching for it!

Here is the ribbon for the Try It clubs - they are alll ready to go - I must admit, it was hard to part with it - doesn't it look sooooooooooooooooooooooo pretty?? ;^)

fun with photoshop!

I love to mess with my digital pictures - can not WAIT til Stampin' Up! finally releases the digital scrapbooking software.
Til then - look what you can do to make an already gorgeous shot even prettier!
Today was golf filled - came home and baked Raspberry Cobbler, Blueberry Crisp, Blueberry Syrup, Cream of Zuchinni soup and Creamed Asparagus soup. Not many Indiana summer days are cool enough for soup - but today was perfect!
We need another trip to Michigan to pick more fruit!

back to the real world

We have been away at the beach - can you tell??? I do have Big Shot class tomorrow night with all new dies - so you are welcome to come!
Then, Friday - a golf match - Monday - a golf match.............and then golf camp. At least during golf camp I should have some time to get caught up a bit.
There are several unopened boxes of stampin' goodies downstairs that I have not had time to open, but if you ordered at debut, it is likely here! The Try It clubs will be ready for pick up next week (unless I get REALLY busy tomorrow and get the class prepped in time!)
Enjoy the shots of Lake Michigan - it was glorious. We picked Raspberries, Blueberries and Cherries! Loved the beach, the sunsets and had a ton of good food. We stayed in a beach cottage and laughed til past midnight. Just what a get away should be!

And it is all coming..........soon!

After a crazy busy week last week that included golf, canoeing 14 miles, Stamp Camp, Catalog Debut, working at a Casting Crowns concert, TWO birthday parties for ONE daughter, 4th of July....................I have come to a new Monday - with days on my calendar that as yet remain empty. Today is actually scheduled as a WORK day! You know you are busy when you need to schedule work ;^)
I will be entering orders, finishing my trades and getting the rest of 2009's class schedules (some have samples!) up - as well as some additional new catalog information and specials! Check the site back later for more updates and your INbox if you get my emails.
Just an FYI, the Try It clubs are now all filled.
