Tropical Chic - Stamps and Dies with Something A Little Extra Special!

Today's project is another one of my August Camp projects.  I fell in love with this bundle when I first saw way back in April when we got our catalog at the sneak peek 80's night in Atlanta - it has been a WHIRLWIND since then!  I am not even sure WHEN I ordered the bundle, but I AM sure it has sat neglected all spring and summer long til now.  But no more!

Today's video is a little quicker - as the card itself is super easy to make!  Next week the Bundle will be the featured product on my Facebook - so there will be more samples and videos to come.  To make sure you don't miss any of that (because prizes are given out over there - especially when I get time to go LIVE!) make sure you are following me!

On the video I do show you that the dies are designed to cut a bit differently than most of ours. The stamps are BIG and BOLD - and I don't even USE the big and bold ones...so grab a cuppa and take a second and watch the video!

Next week when I do another post with the set I will make sure to include the pictures of the dies that you get and just how they cut out. I know many of appreciate having those as a helpful resource!  I find when you get a set like this to know what they are going to do before you use them is a must.

And - seriously girls - every single day now I am getting questions about my table pretties!  I have accumulated some extras.  If you have not made it through a whole video (or have had to turn the volume down...I know I have had worked in the office, lol) I will be having a POP UP sale some time next week.  It will be on my FACEBOOK BUSINESS PAGE - so you need to follow me there if you want to see.  Cheri's Cards.  I have several extras of the CREATE, WRITE, and the little table things I throw my scraps and dies in so they don't get lost.  I even have some of my shoebox swap zip things...  BUT - I do NOT have any WASHI (I do have 1 or 2 Stamp).  The Washi ones must be hard to find....and I have friends that "need" them if I ever do, lol.

Speaking of Shoebox Swaps and Swaps in general....next week when we do our joint Facebook Lives - we will be talking all things Swaps - this will be for our fellow demonstrators.  One of us went to one of the Conventions waaaaaaaaay back in the early 90s - when Shelli dressed up maybe as a Princess - between the 3 of us we have been to zillions... (well - maybe not that many - but we have a TON under our belts).  If you want to know how to swap, how to make swaps, swap etiquette, what is a Shoebox swap, what to do with ALL the swaps after - then watch our live!  It will be next Monday the 20th - midday EST.  But they will all air again.  If you find mine - I will link to theirs.  Orlando will be HUGE!  Expect swapping to begin in rest stops and airports - so get ready to start stamping now!

Blended Seasons: Artistry Inspired - Coming Soon!

By the end of this week I will have all of the information ready for you to be ready to purchase the August Artistry Inspired Blended Seasons Class!  The class will include the Blended Seasons bundle (stamps and dies) and the new Watercolor pencils.  With that purchase you will get the consumable supplies to complete 4 adorable projects!  You will need a few additional supplies to be able to make the items - all of those items will be included when I have the class details posted.  If you don't have them, you can add them when you purchase your bundle.

The best part about this class - is you will become a MASTER at using your Watercolor Pencils!  They are such a great coloring medium - perfect for grabbing on the go.  Each project will include PDF instructions with detailed pictures.

The class will be open for purchase through August 10th - so be checking here and in your email so you don't miss the sign up period.

If you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and part of my demonstrator email list - you will get an email with the information on just buying the PDF portion of my class for you to be able to offer it to your customers - or just to take yourself.

Then - over the course of August - watch this space as I use the Blended Seasons bundle and show you the same stamps colored in with Brusho, Inks, Blends - giving you even MORE ways to use your brand new bundle!!

Blossoming Basket - White Emboss Watercolor Resist and Brayered Springtime Foils

Oh, this card!  We are in the part of the country today where spring is still in our sight...but if you are reading this from where winter has reared it blustery head again - just click on some of my pictures so they are nice and big and take comfort in the fact that at least March snow melts more quickly!

First - before we get to the video - I did want to point out these two cards.  Sometimes at my classes there is frustration that the cards don't turn out exactly like mine.  Well - these two cards ARE mine.  Made about 30 minutes apart.  Even my OWN cards - don't turn out exactly like my own, lol.  Water runs, ink settles, bows twist.  It's art and it's handmade - it will all be a little different.  Most of my videos include 2 cards at the end.  The prototype and then the one I just create.  Many times they are REALLY different.  Watch for it!

Now on to the video (remember - go to YouTube if you want to see a higher quality video)

Now - some mentions with this card.....
The stamp set and the foil paper...both OH SO VERY PRETTY!  Are they not?
Both will no longer be available after the end of the month because they are part of the Sale-a-bration promotion.  Paper is free with a $50 purchase and the Blossoming Basket is free with a $100 purchase (it is a bundle with a Big Shot folder) - BOTH WERE FEATURED IN YESTERDAYS VIDEO AS WELL!!!

This is one of the projects we will be making at camp this weekend.  I do have some space left - if you are in the Indianapolis area and would like to attend then sign up for my email and you will get the information in an email that will be going out later this afternoon.  Registration closes tomorrow morning.
Wednesday I will also be opening up registration for a very limited time sign up for the Artistry Inspired Class that I previewed last Month - I even have a sneak peak of one of the projects to show you what it would be like when you purchase and receive the class in your home!

With tomorrow's post there will be the March Host Code, the March Artistry Inspired information and that sneak video and ordering information.

For now - if you are interested in the supplies for this project - here they are - just hold off ordering until tomorrow when you have the host code and the freebies that will go with your order announced in the post tomorrow!

Heartfelt Blooms Vintage Style with Brushos

This is a lovely stamp that is a new style from Stampin' Up!  You will love it!  I have a couple of cards that I have made using the same stamp.  One of them will be a camp project....I just have not decided which one yet.  For those of you who are coming - feel free to vote your choice after I have posted them all!

Take a second to watch the video - I wish that you could see all the shimmer......

I will admit that I have colored this stamp more than once - and each time I seem to pick different petals.  You can see it even happened here on the card I made the first time and the one I made on video.

If you have not used the Brusho yet - Why?! It is so much fun!!  I used it in two different ways on this card.  Once to watercolor the main image and also on the background as a spritz for some fun speckle to add to the vintage feel of the card.

The embossing folder I used tends to rip through all of the cardstock.  For this design, I just went with the rips and let it add to the Shabby Chic look.  This style was popular with our card designs back in the 2000's - I did resist the urge to tear the paper and sponge!

All online orders placed on my website that include the host code 3PTEB4HY  when prompted will receive a pack of mini dimensionals as a thank you gift!  If your order is over $75 - in addition to the mini dimensionals you will receive a Fast Fuse adhesive!  This offer is good through February 28th.
