Take a break from the old to look at some new!

This morning we are taking a break from the stamp sets that are soon to retire to see what is up and coming in just a matter of weeks!!

Tuesday I did get to stamp with friends, just being with these great ladies is refreshing - but they had new stuff and I did not yet (but I do now!)

So, today's stamped samples are courtesy of these talented ladies - thanks Deb and Susan!!

I am working on some special projects that will go to my club members who join next year's stamp club. It is a fun color system organization system - the girls who were members this year will even get it in a customized tin! Here is a mock-up, by no means finished, but I am busy working on them!!

The color system will include ALL the past and current In Colors so they can organize and work with all of them.

Don't forget that the retiring accessories list will be posted next Monday. We know all current In Colors will be out, so check back tonight for a weekend special on those retiring colors.

Fun with Frogs

The next set in the soon to be retired sale is Unfrogettable.

Love it, it is tons of fun - I have a 3d card and a mini scrapbook that I will try to post as well in the next few days.

Later this week, watch for pictures of some NEW things {colors and stamps} - I have fabulous friends who have provided samples - some of which you may be making if you attend catalog debut!

This set is wonderful for watercoloring, in these samples (from a watercolor class we did a couple of years ago) there are various mediums used.

The single pumpkin is ink refill on watercolor cardstock. The basket of leaves is ink refills on regular cardstock. The groupling of pumpkins is watercolor crayons. I used watercolor pencils on the apple bucket and pure color pencils (with odorless spirits) on the sunflower.

A friend sent me the second sunflower - she did poppin' pastels.

Always Stampin'

Here are the cards we are making this week at the With One stamp set class (featuring the set Always). I love

the bird!

Though you can't see it in the pictures, many of the cards use the textured cardstock - it adds a subtle elegance to your projects - lots of In Colors used here too, as I try to use up the stacks of them that I have left (what we don't get used will be available to purchase at the debut in August!)

I have been .... in the 80's

The last two weeks have been a whirlwind of golf, birthdays, parties, fireworks, mexico prep and more.....

Karisa had her 'friend' party last Thursday and chose an 80's theme. We even made a Wii trivia game. Last night I sent pictures to friends (most of whom I knew IN the 80's) and awoke to emails saying how much she looked like me.

Here I am (in Vienna, Austria - so it was actually 1990 - and I would have been about 24?) and here she is - just 14 (one friend said she looked 20, I guess maybe in the picture she does!). I didn't want to find a picture, had this one already in the computer - but the resemblance is there! I see Serg in her, hard to see me - since we look nothing alike!

Our Anniversary was yesterday - here is a self-portrait we took in Myrtle Beach on our honeymoon.....

Since I am home alone all week, I will be trying to get some samples up with retiring sets - and there will be some specials on them - so watch this space or watch your emails....til then...

Here is a sample from camp - we had fun watercoloring. This image is so perfect for it. I know the picture looks like I mounted it on Not Quite Navy, I have not lost my mind - it is on Artichoke, I just couldn't adjust my image.
