This is the second in a series of cards using the Apron of Love bundle. This time I took it a whole new direction - no Bridal Shower look, lol. Although you COULD use it for another Couples Shower card if you want - how cute for the guy's gift?!
I did use the Dad stamp for a Father's Day or Dad's Birthday card - but you could switch the background up with a wood emboss or wood paper background for a generic male card.

The handles of the utensils are cut from the Wood paper - up close they look so real! The pieces would be cute embellishments on scrapbook pages or recipe cards. To add some additional texture to the card I cut the Apron out of watercolor cardstock - it makes it look like it is a muslin bbq apron.
The Apron of Love bundle has a lot of pieces that will give you all kinds of options for Aprons. Don't think of just aprons in the cooking aspect - Art, Chemists, Science, Stampers, Dr's, Hairstylists, Painters, the list is so long! The ties and the loops are optional. There are ruffles and pockets.
You can add the stamping and words. You can see I added the tiny words to the top pocket on this card - but no words to the original Apron card I made.
All of the tools can be used with the Apron or on cards, recipe cards or scrapbook pages completely without the apron. The scissors are fun with all kinds of crafting cards. The hearts and flowers can be used on multiple projects year round.
