Today's project combines a whole lot of impact in just under 4 minutes video time - so make sure you watch! It's a fun new stamp set, uses the Big Shot embossing pad, the Simply Shammy, a fabulous new embossing folder.....and an explosion of color!

Here is a close up of what effects you can get with the new Big Shot Embossing Mat. The die I used to create the puzzle impression actually CUTS your cardstock into a bunch of puzzle PIECES (which I plan to use in the future for a fun children's card!) But with the magic of this mat - my die becomes much more like the folders and just gives me an impression. Are you already thinking now of what dies you have in your stash that you can now turn into something new and amazing?!!!
In the video you may have noticed how I have been using my Simply Shammy. One thing you need to do is let it dry completely between uses so it will not mold. I keep mine in a stamp case and spritz it with one of our tiny spritzers of water. This way I don't get it more wet than it needs to be if I am just stamping one card - so it dries quickly. It makes doing a rainbow effect like the inside of this card so easy - as the Shammy cleans up the rubber quickly!
The embossing folder that I used is also a new one called Subtle. It leaves a nice 'subtle' pattern in the cardstock - you can see it in the picture below. One thing it would be perfect for is if you have any old paper that may have damaged corners or look a bit worn - run it through this folder and it will fix it right up! It is a great texture!
