Today is the last project from my Holiday Catalog stamp night that I had with my girls in August. Once I filmed this then I had to get back to the creating table!
Click HERE for the How to Video! |
Here is the video link - while it looks like there might be something difficult or something holding it together that need to dry or hot glue - that is not the case - you can see me complete the project with supplies all from the catalog - and the card ready for giving as soon as I am finished!
The project itself is a mix up of several different things from the Catalog - a little of the Merry Christmas Bundle, a WHOLE lot of the Festive Farmhouse suite (except for the stamps, lol) and then the Making Everyday Bright and the Bulb Builder punch. Make sure if you get the Making Christmas Bright to not miss the coordinating stamp set!
I also used the Take Your Pick tool I see this in the future in all of our bags as we go to camps, classes and Shoebox swaps. With the pieces that it comes with - you will have everything at your fingertips - I know at my camps I have 3 or 4 "pokey things" as we refer to them....but still there is often a wait for them. With your own TYP tool - you will have your own whenever you need it....and so much more!
I purchased nearly everything from the Festive Farmhouse suite...except for the stamps! My first few orders have not included much in the way of Christmas because I wanted to focus on the upcoming seasons first. But you can have a suite and use in it ways other than what it is 'designed' for!
This is a card, of course, but with it's 3D elements it would easily be turned into a small home decor piece. All of the stores right now have little shiplap farmhouse frames that you could cut this to fit - it would make a fun Hostess gift if you are visiting someone for the holidays.
Since I used the feather in the Making Everyday Bright set the Bulb Builder punch didn't need the second part of the punch. The bulb punches out just the feather - the two step stamp fills it in. If you were going for a more detailed look - especially if you were framing it, you might want to use a 2nd or even 3rd color.
If you have trouble when using the punches and get frustrated trying to "line them up" - then make sure not to miss the first video I did with this Bulb Builder bundle - I give you the tips for making your template and will take all your frustration out of it!
This week on Facebook my Product of the Week is the Wishing You Well stamp set. Join me over there for some fun samples and additional ways to use it. I will be featuring some YouTube videos with more ideas for it - the next one will feature the Stamparatus! Thursday I will go Live with this weeks Special and a demonstration that incorporates it!!
I am also trying to get the recipe lists for all of the videos that I posted before the catalog was live - but to be honest with the Catalog going live during a short Holiday week....getting those done with everything else I have going on is a challenge. If you have a question on a specific card - then ask!
All orders placed on my webstore in September over $50 and using the Host Code
NMJFH237 will receive a package of Chicken Wire Elements. (Unfortunately they were so wildly popular that they are on backorder, but I should have them in early October!)
