Covering the cup is so easy. Just trace the DSP pattern. It is easiest if you roll it around so it gets it shape, then add the tape and roll the second time and adhere. You only need tape on the ends. Same with the belly band. I used the tear and tape - it is an easy to work with, yet strong adhesive.
The belly band is stamped with the tiny stamps from the Merry Cafe. This set can be used in a lot of ways that don't even need to be drink related. There are snowflakes, hearts, apples, leaves and more. Don't think it's just a coffee set either - it's got tea, hot chocolate, apple cider covered too! The framelits from the Coffee Cafe Bundle - and the stamps as well - will all combine to make one giant supersized drink lovers bundle. The dies I used on this project are from that set.
I used Swiss Miss Hot Chocolate - 1/8th cup. Fill this size cup with hot water and it's the right size for a mini hot cocoa treat. This size cup also holds a K-Cup! How fun to leave a surprise on a co-workers desk with her favorite flavor of K-Cup inside.
The lid design is simply punched from the 2" circle punch. So many options for the lid design! I will be sure to post some Christmas designs for you. I also think they would be fun to make and put some mini desserts in - with a Thanksgiving design.
