This card is one that we will be making both at September Camp and at the 20Something class this month. It has already been posted to my site once, so if you feel like you are having a sense of deja vu - you are! You are not going crazy! But when I last posted it - it was a sneak peak and you were not able to purchase many of the items needed. Let me show you how versatile this Suite is.
The stamp set is designed to be used for Christmas, New Years and weddings. With that snowflake you can also pull it out for some winter cards and some scrapbooking. If I was ever forced to choose just one color to keep for my crafting - I would go for metal. (Is that even a color, lol) I love gold and silver - but copper and champagne -those are my most favorite of all. And all FOUR have a place in this suite.
The designer series paper has the 4 metallics as does the washi. As we go through this 10 day catalog kick off you will see them both make appearances on more than one project. You might wonder just how many washi packages I used - just the one - there are that many fun variations in this set. 5 rolls!
This card I went with the metallic doilies from the Annual Catalog - but easily switch the Love to Joy (which comes in the set) and change the doily to one of the Foil Snowflakes (they are so pretty in person!) and you can use the exact same layout for your Christmas card.
Here again is my How To video:
Here is the Year of Cheer Suite as shown off in the Holiday Catalog. See the circle banner they have made? My to do list includes making one just like this - although I plan to use the leaf dies. I have a perfect place to hang it!
