2 Vintage Leaves cards in under 5 minutes - with plaid, mixed papers and jute

Today's project is one we will be making at Mini Camp next week.  It started out as one project (the single leaf card with the green check).  But the 'scrap' leaves that were left were so pretty lying on the table werejust too pretty, that I decided why not just use them and whip up a whole second card with them!  So - if you are coming to October Mini camp - it will have a bonus camp this month and be 4 projects for the price of 3, lol.

I love the flannel and plaid prints in so many of the DSP papers this year.  Mixed with the wood print and wood folder and the metals - such a simple card ends up striking.  I added a Thanksgiving type saying - but the great thing about the leaf cards - they may great Birthday, Thinking of You, Thanks or add a knot instead of a bow and they can even be used as a Sympathy.

So often you may be like me and like to add a layer of color behind your front piece for some added contrast - on the video you will see that is where I get one of my leaves.  If you know you are using a full panel for just a covered layer and your Big Shot is handy - just go ahead and roll a shape out of it.  Keep them in a small box near where you stamp - great paper and money saver!!
