Valentine Week Day 2 - Simple Card Perfect For Beginning Stampers - No Big Shot Needed!

It is a gloomy, wet, grey day here in Indianapolis.  Nothing brings out the cloudy skies more quickly than me committing to a week of filming!  There are shadows in the video....I apologize.

For the project - if you follow Stampin' Up! on Facebook - you may have seen this project that they posted a couple of days ago - I thought it was lovely!  It uses the die and the stamp set that I have featured a lot over the last month.  I wanted to use the color scheme and look of the treat box - but switch it to a card.  AND I know that many of you 1) don't have a lot of time to create a lot of Valentines 2) don't want to invest in a Die that goes with a Valentine set OR 3) may just be starting out in the craft of stamping and might not even HAVE a Big Shot yet.  Do head to the Stampin' Up! Facebook page to see their project!  So very cute!!

So - here is my simplified version of the card - in a SUPER quick little video

I kept the embossed white heart - because if you are just new to stamping - embossing is by far the BIGGEST WOW factor!  Everyone will be so very impressed that you did it by yourself!  If you don't have an embossing tool, there are other ways you can emboss with things in your home (no, not a hair dryer, lol).  And the look of the white powder against the Bermuda Bay 'wood' background - Love.
If you want to easily recreate these cards for your Valentine - and are a new stamper - I will help you with that!  See the project list below?  If you order everything on it BUT the cardstock (the Crumb Cake, the Wood Paper and the Whisper White) - by January 27th - I will send you those cardstocks needed for you to complete SIX of the cards!  No charge.  To qualify you must enter the Host Code T7AU6ZC9 when you check out on my website.
This stamp set and die is featured prominently in this week's Project At Home.  You only have til Thursday to purchase the kit which will then get you the supplies for the free class.  If you missed it, you can get the details of it HERE.
