You Are My Sunshine with Stitched All Around Bundle

Another Sneak Peek today - although the days are getting so close that it feels like it's time for the catalog to be live!  I still have 2 or 3 retiring videos to edit....so the pressure is now more on to get those done for you to see!  You will want to be sure to visit my site and be on my email list those last couple of days of May.  I feel like I will need to do a big Giveaway and a major kind of sale, lol.  There is a video today, but it is further down in the post than usual!

The Project I have today was one that I was pleasantly surprised with.  I am a sucker for anything that says "You are my Sunshine" as it was my Grandma's signature song.  I have her Avon "Lilly Of the Valley" bottle in my office (I included it in some of my photos - her name was Lillian), so when I saw the words in the stamp set it was just an emotional purchase.
Preparing for my girls to come over for the Shoebox Swap on Sunday I found myself late Saturday night (isn't that when creativity strikes - those last minutes?) staring at the stack of stuff I still had not used from my Preorder.  I decided to use the Sunshine.  The dies that are part of this bundle are the "stitched" part - thus the name - and I always run them all through the Big Shot first to see what I am working with.  So take a look at this bundle of fun.  Those of us who-can-but-would-rather-do-anything-but Sew can now get the fun stitching effect on our cards with some quick passes through the Big Shot!
There are frames for the words and images in the set.

There are stitched borders, both the regular stitching you can see on my card and one that more resembles a cross stitch.

There is even a large stitched background....I attempted to put it on my card because it is super cool - but I wanted this card to have a light and airy feel and it was just not the look I wanted.  But - next time.  I am so excited to combine these dies with so many other products.  NOW - here you go - have a watch out how easy this card was to put together!

Super easy, eh?!

Here is a nice close up of the stitching effects combined with what is sure to be one of the most popular ribbon choices this year.

You will have noticed my dies came out very easily with one pass back and forth on just the standard base.  One note - when using the stitching - I found it was best to just go ONE time (not back) for the best look.  If you went back again it made more of a hole, not a stitch.

The inside of the card I did a little rainbow effect with the sponge. As you fly through the catalog the first dozen times - make sure to stop and really look at this set.  Because it is a lot of words and borders I know sometimes they get missed.  It reminds me of my poor little Celebration set of last year.  It has great dies and simple but such useful words - often ya'all are looking at the pictures and the bigger art images of the stamps.

Page 17.  Stitched All Around.  If you are an online customer of mine - you will have your catalog any day now.  If you were at May camp - you have it.  If you NEED a catalog - contact me - I know a girl.....lol.  On June 1 when the catalog is live online I will be able to add the links.  Don't skip the page.  If you will be at June camp - you are in luck - this is a JUNE CAMP PROJECT!
